The table below shows the sales at a small restaurant in a downtown American business district.
On Monday the sales for lunch reached $2,400 and for dinner $3,623. On Wednesday lunch sales were $2,595 and dinner $3,445. As we can see this table is divided into weekdays and weekends. Lunch meals on Wednesday were the highest sales with a number of $2,595, while for dinner the highest sales were on Friday with a number of $2,900. We can notice that lunch sales were always less than dinner sales, approximately by $1,000 each day.
As a conclusion we can see that people spend less money on lunch meals and more on dinner meals. Also , we can see Sunday is an off day for this restaurant and that is why it doesn’t report in the table.
